Presenter Nadim MattaNadim is President and founding Board member of the Rapid Results Institute, a non-profit organization that builds capacity for Rapid Results implementation support in Africa and the Middle East. The Institute has pioneered the use of 100-day projects to turbo-charge development projects and programs.
He has introduced Rapid Results work in Nicaragua, Eritrea, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Ghana, Sudan, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, and Jordan. And he worked in a variety of sectors including HIV/AIDS, family planning, education, agriculture, and decentralization. His work was featured in the New York Times and other publications.
Nadim is also co-managing partner of Schaffer Consulting, a fifty year old management consulting firm that has worked with hundreds of major corporations in the US and Europe to accelerate their results and strengthen their execution capabilities. His clients include Pfizer Inc., Zurich Financial Services, GE-Capital, Anglo-American, Ascom, Blackrock, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Nadim was born and raised in Lebanon. Before joining Schaffer Consulting, he worked at the U.S. Agency of International Development in Beirut, where he oversaw the implementation of a multimillion-dollar relief and rehabilitation effort. As a volunteer for Save the Children Federation, he also launched and managed a food assistance program benefiting 100,000 families that were displaced or severely impacted during the Civil War in Lebanon.
Nadim has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, and a Masters degree in Public Health from the American University of Beirut. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
